What my kids do...

This is what my kids do with the ads that come in Tuesdays mail...and I let them.

Pumpkin Walk

On Saturday we took the kids to the Pumpkin Walk. I hadn't ever been and it was pretty cool to see all the fun creative designs that people came up with! My favorite was Noah's ark because all the animals were made completely of pumpkins! I hear its better at night when they are all lit up...but we had fun with the nice weather and sunshine.

Alexa at Kiddie Kandids

I got a coupon in the mail from Kiddie Kandids for a free picture, so I decided what the heck..let someone else take her picture for a few. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Kiddie Kandids! They are awesome! Here are some of her pics! She got her cute outfit and bow from my mom! Thanks Mom!

A few things...

Yesterday I filled up my Pilot for under $50!!!! K it was $49.87..but that is STILL under $50!

It made my day. Ya I know..it doesn't take much.
~*~

The other night as we were headed home from my inlaws...this is what Chayse was busy doing in the backseat.

No it doesn't make me happy that he wrote all over himself, but I sure laughed about it when he wasn't looking. Of course I had to take pictures of his artwork.
~*~
I just love this little girl. Especially when she is smiley and happy! Right now she has 4 teeth that are poking through and she has had a hard time the last week. I hate it when my babies hurt and I can't do much about it. She was a happy girl today though!

A lil catch up

Wow, we have been busy busy! We spent the weekend down in SLC area. Brandon & my dad had a meeting for SOC and I had two photoshoots to do in SLC and Murray. I did a photoshoot for the Hennemans and Brandon's cousin Jenn and her family. Brandon and the kids tagged along for lack of anything better to do and had their own fun while I was snapping pictures! We stayed at my Dad's house and had a blast! Thanks Dad! We also went and saw Brandon's grandparents in South Jordan on Sunday. It was good to see them, though its so hard to see their health dwindling so quickly. Grandpa DeMill didn't even look like he knew who we were or what was going on. Grandma is in pain and I hate to see her just having to sit there and handle it. They are such sweet and amazing people, and we are soaking up as much love and wisdom as they will share while we still have them with us! We love you both! Then we headed to Justin & Jenny's house for lunch and a Ping Pong tournament. Who ended up winning anyway? Thanks for the yummy food you guys!

First Snow of the Season!

The second Chayse saw that it was snowing yesterday, he was dying to get his "glubs" and hat and coat on and go play! Unfortunately there hasn't been enough snow to play in..but seeing how excited he was..I gave in. This morning we went and bought him a new winter coat and a hat and "glubs" and of course we decked Alexa out too! When we got home I got him all bundled up and he played in what little snow we had. He loved it, so that is all that matters! He can't wait til there is enough to snow to build a snowman with his daddy!

Just a few fun Photos!

Looking out the window for his friends who are coming over for preschool! I taught this last week and we learned about bugs and made catepillars out of egg cartons! (Thanks for the idea Grandma Fahnestock!)
So excited that Mommy is teaching preschool! He said he wanted to teach about Monkeys and Cows, but maybe another time! :)
Big Pimpin! Doesn't he look so cute in his new church suit? I saw a great deal at Sam's Club and couldn't pass it up! He looks like a little man! He got lots of compliments today at church! :)
Awww, here is my little Sweet Pea. She is 8 months old now! She is crawling on all 4's, pulling herself up on couches, chairs, benches..you name it..she will try and climb up it! She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, making for a tiring day of playing referee with her mouth and hands! She says Mama, Dada and Baba..but has no idea what she is saying. It's so funny because she will start babbling off jibberish in a very serious, scolding tone..and really..it sounds like she is cussing you out! On the other hand, she has this new smile where she smiles as big as possible, showing her two cute teeth and scrunches her eyes up. It seriously makes me laugh every time she does it! I will try and get it on camera! Anyway, she is also walking along furniture and can stand by herself for a few seconds. Who knows, maybe Brandon's prediction of her walking by 9 months may come true. Though to be honest, I really don't want my baby walking already. That just means she is getting bigger and bigger and I just don't like that! :)

Chayse is doing great! He is as sweet as can be, but definitely knows how to put me in my place at times! He is starting to phase out his naps a little bit, and some days I am ok with it because I know he will go to sleep earlier, but other days..I really wish he would nap. At least I still get a few times a week where they actually are both taking naps! Anyway, Chayse's last week of soccer is this next week. It's hit and miss on whether he loves it. He isn't into it some days and we can't really expect much since he is barely 3 and its his first time playing team sports. So, for his first time playing soccer, he did just fine! I am thinking about putting him into gymnastics next, just because we need something to give him an energy outlet in the winter!

So that is there you have the update on the kiddos!

A Relaxing Sunday..

We headed over to my in-laws today for a yummy lunch and an afternoon of chatting and ping-pong. My husband and bro-in laws are pretty much obsessed with ping pong. Gary likes to play with them, but definitely realizes there is more to life than the Chinese ping pong serve and the studying thereof. (Haha just kidding guys! :). So that usually leaves us women hanging out chatting about important things in life..you know..like photo shop, digital scrapbooking, vacations, Christmas shopping, etc. The kids all play really well together and have a blast hanging out! We took a few pics of them today! They are all so cute and I love when my niece and nephew come to hang out with my kids! My kids just love spending time with their cousins :)

Look at this handsome boy with those baby blues!

What are they laughing at?

Say "cheeeeese"

The girls...

Telling secrets.

She is such a doll and I love her to pieces! :)

Thanks for coming up, Justin and Jenny, and for the yummy lunch LaDonna! It was a fun relaxing Sunday!

Chayse is a Dinosaur!

K not really..
Ya i know you didn't think I was being serious.

But he definitely tried to be a dinosuar today! :) They had preschool at Jacque's today and they learned about dinosaurs. Chayse was literally shaking and didn't want me to leave because he thought he really was going to see them there. He didn't want to "wear them either". Once Jacque calmed his fears he turns to me and says " i will color it and bring it home to you! bye mom!"
Anyway, I had to snap a few pictures of his totally cute outfit! Thanks for such a fun day for them Jacque! You did great!

Oh and by the way. The original doctor to see Chayse called me yesterday and said that my doctor was mistaken and Chayse really does have HSP. He said it looked like a pretty mild case, so we are thankful for that! We just basically watch for it to come (it may not) and go in and get his urine and blood pressure checked if it does. His knee was hurting him last night and this morning and he tried to run about 30 min ago and said he just couldn't do it. So we are keeping a close eye on him. The doctor said it may take a few weeks to a month to fully recover. I guess that even thought the swelling and rash/welts have gone..he still may be achy. So anywho..that is the latest update!

Oh the places she will go....

Alexa is mobile.

More mobile than I am ready for.
She crawls now. A lot faster than she scooted.
She puts everything in her mouth.

She tries to climb up the entertainment center.

She thinks she can walk.

Her head is tough..she has bonked it a few times this week.
The stairs are next..She can go up one already.

My days just got that much busier.
