Congratulations Brandon!

Just had to give my husband a pat on the back for his big promotion at work yesterday! He works for a loan company here in Logan, and has been a supervisor over the collections department for a year now. He has been hoping to be promoted to manager and we have been hoping and praying for that. He was told yesterday he starts his new title on Monday, (or Wed rather, when they get back from the holiday.) He and another gentleman have taken on a lot of responsibilities as the managers over the 3 areas of collections: the employees who work from home, the employees at the office, and the employees working with Australia. This company is going from a small loan company in Logan, UT to global and growing very quickly. They just had investors in Australia decide to do loans there, and run the loans through the Logan office. As time passes, they hope to dip into Great Brittain, New Zealand and a few other countries. They are dabbling in doing so many different things, making so many doors open for Brandon in the future! They currently have about 30 employees and are hoping within the next few months to bump that up to, I believe 70-80 employees. (im pretty sure that is what Brandon said) Whatever the number is...they are hoping to grow like crazy! Im so proud of Brandon for all the hard work he has put into this company. We are so glad that he chose to stick with this company because it has really proven to pay off! Good job babe! We are so proud of you!

Bye Bye Dylan!

Yesterday was my last day of nannying for The Robinson Family. I have been with Dylan since he was 3 months old, and he just turned 1 on Dec 19. It has been so fun to see him grow and develop throughout the 9 months I was with him. He is such a fun little guy with a great personality. Chayse and Dylan got along really well for the most part and I know that Chayse will sure miss playing with his little buddy every day during the week! Danilo and Shelley were so great to work for! Shelley and I became fast friends and I looked forward to our morning chats before she left for work! I am sure I will watch Dylan here and there for them still before the baby comes, and even after she comes, cuz I can just take her with me. I just decided that when I hit 32 weeks, I just needed time to get ready for Alexa to get here, and to be able to relax and try and keep her in as long as possible! Luckily it worked out with when Shelley went on Christmas Break (she is a school teacher)..and that would give them time to get ready and adjusted to the new place she would be taking Dylan! It makes me sad because Dylan will be watched by someone else, and I definitely got attached to him! I will miss his huge smile when he sees me walk in his house, and the cute little chubby arms he held out for me to come pick him up, and the way he would bury his head on my shoulder and just laugh when he was in a playful mood! I feel lucky to have been able to watch such a great little boy!
(These are old pics from when we first started nannying Dylan..Shelley has the most recent ones of us together, so I will post those when I get them from her! He is still such a cute little guy with a big ol' fro..SO CUTE!)

Christmas Party!

(WARNING: slightly long post!)
On Saturday night, we had our good friends, The Congers , over for a little Christmas party! It's always fun when they come from Twin Falls, and can spend time with us! I made really yummy sweet pulled pork enchiladas, that my sister gave me the recipe for. (Let me know if you are interested in the recipe, its very comparable to the ones at Costa Vida) After dinner we hung out, chatted, exchanged gifts and had some delicious peppermint ice cream! It was fun getting the kids together and letting them play. As time goes by, the age difference between them (5 mos) seems to matter less and less. They play pretty well together, though Chayse seems to want to be more affectionate and she is beginning to think boys have cooties! :) Here are some pics from our fun evening! I just wish they lived back in Logan, so we could get together lots, like the old times! We miss you guys already! :)

We had lots of fun and were sad to have our party be over, but we look forward to the next time they come into town and can come play! I was being my emotionally preggo self, and telling Tegan that night how lucky I feel to have such a great friendship with her! There are few times in your life that you get the opportunity to meet someone who just "gets you and still loves you". I can tell her the most random wierdest things, and she just understands, and whats more..she is probably thinking the same thing! I was really sad when she moved way to Twin, but our friendship has stayed strong. Thank goodness for internet and cell phones right? Haha! Anyway, just wanted to thank you Tegan for all the fun times, endless phone conversations, fabulous recipe advice, gossip sessions, "kid time" with our little ones, sneaking away to breakfast, work "experiences", numerous shopping trips, craft times, and the shoulder or ear you always offer when I need someone to chat with you! I love you for being such an awesome friend!

Almost 30 weeks!

On Tuesday I will be 30 weeks! I cant believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by! I know once I hit the "30's"...then time will just fly by even more! I was told by my husband last night, that come mid-January..I cant go anywhere by myself, just in case I go into labor. His dad works 2 min away from where we live, so he feels like if I am at home at least, his dad can make it over to help with Chayse til he can make it there. (Mind you he only works like 12 min away...7 min if there isnt any traffic.) So as nice as it would be for things to move that quickly, I told him I would be fine and Im sure he would make it home in time to take me to the hospital before she came out! Haha! Luckily Logan is small enough that no matter where I am..someone is close by! He is also crossing his fingers that the baby comes on a weekend because that gives him more time with the baby before he would have to go back to work. It was endearing to see the wheels turning and planning the upcoming birth. Unfortunately..(specially with me)...birth just isnt something we can plan!

I know this sounds totally lame, but Im just worried about the hospital stay and being away from Chayse so much! Depending on when you deliver at Logan Regional, they usually have you stay 3 days..hospital policy. I haven't ever been away from Chayse more than overnight, and we took him to my inlaws later and picked him up way early..so Im just not used to being away from my little buddy! Thats what he totally is, my little buddy..we are always together! I know he can come visit in the hospital, but realistically how long will a 2 1/2 yr old be able to sit in a hospital room! Oh well, Im sure I will have enough to worry about with the new little one and trying to get some sleep in between, that I wont even really think about it. K Im done with my ramblings! :)

Its Beginning to Look Like Winter!

Earlier this week, Logan got the first snowfall of the season and needless to say Chayse was so excited to go play in the snow! His dad taught him how to throw snowballs, in the house even! Bad Daddy! Oh well, he had a blast and is very excited to help Daddy build a snowman when there is more snow!
