Terrible Tragedy

My heart goes out to the miners and their families that have experienced these two tragedies the past 11 days; the first being the first collapse that trapped the 6 miners, and the second collapse that happened last night, killing 3 miners and injuring 6 more, who were showing brave acts of heroism, attempting to rescue the 6 trapped miners. They knew the dangerous conditions and still put their lives o
n the line to try and rescue these men. My prayers are with the families of the miners who lost their husbands last night. I hope they soon find peace and understanding of all that has happened.Brandon and I were glued to the TV, watching the news for almost 2 1/2 hrs last night as they covered this tragedy. No one knew anything for so long, just were seeing ambulances go up and down and AirMed helicopters landing and taking off. All they knew was that there had been a second collapse and obvious injuries. Families didnt even know for probably what seemed to them, so long, on who the men were that were injured. They showed video of the life victims, being taken into the hospital, and I couldnt help but get tears as you see the pain these men are in, and how heroic their actions w
ere to put themselves in this position. Now the question is being asked: Do they stop the efforts to find the other 6 trapped miners because the danger threat this is posing to the miners. Last I heard they are continuing the 4th vertical drill hole because there isnt any danger in that, though they did stop for a little bit last night, not wanting to stir the mountain at all last night as they were rescuing the other miners. Gov. Hunstman asked that they hold off on the horizontal dig to the 6 trapped miners, til Bob Murray (owner of mining company) can guarantee certain aspects of safety. I just hope and pray for a miracle, that these 6 trapped miners will be rescued, and that no one else will be injured or killed. I hope that when they do reach these miners, that they will find them alive.
Please take a moment for these miners and their families. They could use all the prayers they can get right now.

Reveal Yourself
A Song Dedicated to Chayse!

I have heard this song plenty of times, but I guess I haven't ever LISTENED to it. Its such a sweet song! Every word in this song is how I feel about Chayse and our little baby on the way! The song is "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Here is a video of them singing it live: "My Wish". When I hear it and apply it towards Chayse and his life..it just gives me chills. Thanks to Rascal Flatts for this great song that will be listened to for years to come!
"My Wish"
I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big
Fishy Day!

Chayse was a leach to my dad the whole time, and loved "Ba-Pa" showing him all the cool fish! You gotta love my dad's cheesy smile! :)

Chayse was so excited to see Nemo in the fish tank! He had to go back a couple times to look. He also saw Dori in there as well, but I didnt get her in the picture. I wish I knew how to add audio because he says Dori so cute! :)

Its kind of hard to tell in this picture, but Chayse was trying to pet the sting rays, or "Mr Ray" from Finding Nemo. Realistically he would have had to be fully submerged to reach them, but he was having fun trying!
Here is Chayse checking out the sharks! He wasn't as mesmerized by them as he was the other exhibits, but they caught his eye long enough to check them out.
Last but not least, we of course had to get a picture with Bruce the Shark from Finding Nemo. That's a name he also says in a very cute way! :)
We had a great time taking Chayse to see all the cool exhibits. He also liked the frogs in the Freshwater part of the aquarium, and of course crawling through the pretend coral and racing around to find my dad. Thanks Dad for a fun day! :)
