My first haircut!

In almost 3 yrs of being married, I finally cut Brandon's hair. I started shaving/buzzing (whatever you call it), this summer...but never have done an official haircut. I shyed away from it because my mother in law said his hair is hard to cut. Well I didnt do the best job ever, but i was pretty proud of my first haircut. We wont mention the inch long bald spot in the back of his head, and Brandon was a good sport about it! Haha! Ofcourse I wanted to take a picture of my "wonderous feat"...but Brandon thought it was ridiculous..as you can tell by his face in the picture and that i tried to catch him as he was walking away haha!

Just had to Share!

For my 3rd post of the day, I just had to share this cute picture of Chayse's costume for this upcoming Halloween! Its his "Raar-Rarrrrr" costume! You cant see from this picture, but it comes with warm lion pants that are too cute! Ofcourse I will post more pictures on Halloween, but I thought this picture was too cute not to share! :)

Chayse's Room

The previous owners of the condo we live in, had the master bedroom painted in this horrible way. It was khaki with goldish colored sponge over the top. Maybe it went well with their things, but DEFINATLY not my style. So finally after a year of living there, we finally got it repainted to a darker khaki color with NO GOLD! Chayse's room was just plain white, and I couldn't stand his white furniture on white walls! So we painted his room the same color. I should have taken before and after pictures, but what a difference the change of color made in Chayse's room. Now all the white furniture is Baby Alexa's and Chayse got a new toddler bed, and then Tegan was so kind to give us Peyton's dresser that they didnt need anymore, to go along with his bed. So here are a few pics of his room repainted and his new bed. (We still have to bring up his dresser). I havent put anything back up on the walls really, because we are still unsure of how we are going to arrange all the furniture. So more pictures will be coming once we get it all arranged into Chayse's side and Alexa's side!(Note: Im not one to decorate with posters, but if you knew how much Chayse LOVES Shrek, you would understand the light in his eyes when he got it from his Uncle Brandon for his birthday. Ofcourse I had to put it up! :) )(Ya, the walls are lookin pretty bare!)

Baby Alexa's "Space"

Since Brandon and I's condo only has two bedrooms, we have had to improvise until we move into a bigger place. I didnt want to have the baby's crib in Chayse's room, for fear of her waking him up all night. Luckily, these condos have pretty big rooms. We re-arranged our furniture in our bedroom so she will have a whole wall to call her "Space". Here are a few pictures of the future princess's "space".

Awww the Smell of Fall!

I just have to share about this absolutely fabulous smell from Bath & Body Works. Let me start off by saying I have been craving ANYTHING pumpkin, from the smell to the taste! It all started when Starbucks came out with their seasonal Pumpkin Spice drinks! Oh my heavens, I am addicted. Then I was craving a pumpkin pie really bad at my dad's house a few weekends ago, and the addiction/craving has continued from there. I have always LOVED the smells of Fall and Christmas, but maybe since I am pregnant this holiday season...Im obsessed! The family that I nanny for had a pumpkin spice air wall flower from Bath & Body Works, and needless to say I am in heaven all day long smelling it. Well I had to get one of my own! I go to B&B Works, only to find out they are out of the Sweet Pumpkin Spice wallflowers, and wont be getting anymore in becuase they are bringing in their Christmas scents. I wasnt too happy because HELLO..we just STARTED fall! Why are they already doing away with the fall scents. She did happen to have the oil in my beloved scent, and explained that the oils are just as good if not better at giving my home the ultimate smell of Fall. So here is the equation she gave, me that will give you the same homely feeling of fall, that I now get to enjoy every day!

Chayse's Fall Pictures

Here are a few of Chayse's Fall Pictures! He is 2 yrs old now and is such a handsome little guy! He had a blast getting his pictures taken! It was quite nice to have him in such a great mood! He was so cooperative with the photographer and such a ham! They turned out great for not even being prepared! We will probably end up getting more, so that we can give them out to everyone. ( We got pulled in as a practice by a girl at Kiddie Kandids and recieved a free 8x10. )

Just looking at these pictures makes me realize how fast time flies and I miss Chayse being my little baby..but at the same time I am so excited for the next stages he will reach in life! Brandon and I really are so lucky to have been blessed with such a fun, talented, smart, loving, caring, creative, hilarious, handsome little boy!

Ever since I found out we were having a little girl, I have had so much fun buying stuff for the little princess! Its so different buying stuff for girls, than boys! I almost needed a refresher course, though I am a girl myself! Well, a shop-a-holic was released and I told Brandon to say goodbye to our life savings! Once I started, I cant seem to stop! Here are a few of the fun things I have bought lil Alexa, besides the mounds of clothes...

I am also very excited, because ever since I found out we were having another baby, I have been looking at crib bedding. I found a way cute one for boys that I absolutely fell in love with here. So, if anyone you know is having a boy, so them..its just too cute. Anyway, I look and a bajillion girl bedding sets, and found some that I liked, maybe even really really liked...but I couldnt find anything I couldnt live without! So, I had heard that Kmart was having a sale on their strollers, and so I went to check it out. I decided to look at the bedding, though I seriously doubted Kmart would have anything to offer, specially because no one else did. Well lo and behold..I walked down the aisle...and the heavens opened and the light shined down on the MOST PERFECT bedding set ever! It was the one and only...I knew right then and there...it was the one for my little girl! Here is a picture that I took of the packaging with my camera...but I will for sure post one when I get everything set up.

Its just so perfect, and the exact colors I was looking for! Yes, maybe I am a little too excited about this..but what can I say...its all new and exciting to buy for a girl!
