Im so excited that we got a new computer finally! My laptop went out a few weeks ago, and we have no idea why. I called and luckily its under warranty so we can send it in and get it fixed. But meanwhile, we were stuck with only our desktop, which is just outdated and was having plenty of issues of its own. So my darling husband agreed that we needed another one and we went on Saturday to look. Well for those of you who know me, I dont like to just "look". If I find one I like, I want to buy it right then and there! Luckily we found one that we both liked, or maybe I just liked it and Brandon knew not to disagree! :) Im getting used to using VISTA and at first I was so frustrated because I couldn't pull up some documents I had saved from our old computer, and I was about to chuck the whole thing at the wall...but Tegan helped me figure it out and so luckily for my computer...I have everything figured out and LOVING IT! I love having a nice big flat screen, unlike our other screen that was a big and bulky. So today I am in a great mood, playing around with my new computer, was able to take a long nap, and Chayse is still sleeping, leaving me time to do random blogs like this..and still no baby! ;)

Baby Update!
As of today I am 35 wks and 2 days! I had my doctor's appointment this afternoon and learned that I had progressed to 2 cm and 70 % efaced now. As crazy as it sounds, to those of you who have gone full term or were overdue...I FEEL OVERDUE! Im 2 days past when I had Chayse, and 2 days to a pregnant woman feels like an eternity! I feel so ready to be done, and I still have 4 wks and 5 days until Im full term! I know every day she is in there, the better of she will be and I keep reminding myself of that. Its an uncomfortable seat on the fence; I want to be done so bad..but I know she needs to cook a little longer! Days that Im feeling like a fat cow, to where even my maternity clothes are getting small.... I tend to lean towards wanting to be done..NOW! Then there are the nights like Tuesday night, that I was having really bad contractions, and it hurt like heck..and I kept thinking "Please dont let this be it..Please let her stay in there longer!. Im not ready for the pain!" So we will just see what happens, she could come tonight or not for another week. I do not, however, believe I will go past 37 wks. Like always, I will keep you all updated!
Feel free to look below and see what I feel like at the moment:

Another early baby??
So today I am 34 wks 2days along. I went in for my doc appt and found out that I am dialated 1.5 cm and 60% efaced. I had somewhat of an inkling that I might be dialated because of some pains I have been having. Some people can be dialated 1-2 cm until their due date, but we aren't thinking that is the case for me. Both pregnancies in the past, I went into labor within a week of me starting to dialate. My doc basically said that with my history and the fact that I am past 34 weeks, they wont put me on strict bedrest or do anything to agressively stop the labor. If I do go into labor they may try tributylene (sp?) to slow down the process, but wont try and stop it. We are ofcourse hoping she stays in as long as possible, but think it will most likely be within the next week or so. So I was told to get lots of rest, relax, and we will just go from here and see what happens..so that is what I am going to go do right now! We will keep you all updated as things progress!

Christmas Post a Little Late!
So I'm finally getting around to doing my Christmas Post! Its been quite a busy last couple of weeks around The Leavitt Household! The few days before Christmas were spent at my inlaws house, hanging out, doing last minute shopping (on my husband's part..I was good and had it all done in plenty of time!) , making gingerbread houses, and eating yummy food! We were never home and felt like we were always on the go doing SOMETHING!
Christmas Eve morning, Brandon's brother and his wife and kids came up and we have a really yummy brunch and opened presents! It was fun to get to see them and to spend time together with the Leavitts for Christmas! Around 12:30 we left to go to Sandy to spend Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day with my dad! It was Chayse's first Christmas at my dad's house and we made sure that Santa Claus knew we had changed places on him! :) I think this Christmas he got more excited as he understood more of who Santa was and what he brought, though I do wish we had focused more on the true meaning of Christmas with him, rather than the commercial side of it. I think as he gets older he will understand that side more! On Christmas Eve we went to dinner at my dad's girlfriend's sister's house and Chayse had a blast being the center of attention with all the ladies around! We woke up Christmas morning and opened our stockings and all the presents and Chayse decided it was his job to help everyone open presents! Chayse defininately got spoiled this year..so he is going to help us go through his toys and pick out some to give to charity or DI.
We were so happy this Christmas Season to be able to spend time with those we love most. Though it was hard for me to not have my sister and her little family with us this year! Her and I have gotten so close again, specially after Jonas came into our lives. I love her dearly and wish that we could live closer together! She is such an amazing mother, friend, sister and confidant! I love you Kimber! Next Christmas we will all be together k?! :)
We are excited for what this next year will bring with adding a new baby to our family, Brandon's promotion, buying a house, finishing school and Chayse growing into more of a little man each day! We will definitely keep you all updated as our lives progress and change!
Here are some pics from our holiday season!

(Chayse with my dad on Christmas Morning)I finally gave in...Im addicted

Let me start off by saying..Vampires and Werewolves..NOT MY THING...AT ALL! I kept hearing about this Twilight trilogy, that it was "so so good!" and a "must read!". I hesitated because books that have to do with fantasy and things like that, just isn't something I like to indulge myself in. All my mother in law could say to explain the books was, " Well you just HAVE to read it!" So after Christmas, I finally gave in..and oh my heavens...I was stuck, addicted, oblivious to the outside world as I read these books. My family probably missed me a bit while I was reading them. I am halfway through the 3rd book (and they are pretty long)..and seriously with the first two..I was constantly curled up on the comfy chair with a blanket with my nose stuck in the book. I have been a little bit better about the 3rd one, realizing I still have a family to take care of..but that doesn't mean I don't itch to get curled back up and see what happens next! I seriously recommend these books, specially to those who were as skeptical as I was! Im also very excited because they are

Congratulations Brandon!

Just had to give my husband a pat on the back for his big promotion at work yesterday! He works for a loan company here in Logan, and has been a supervisor over the collections department for a year now. He has been hoping to be promoted to manager and we have been hoping and praying for that. He was told yesterday he starts his new title on Monday, (or Wed rather, when they get back from the holiday.) He and another gentleman have taken on a lot of responsibilities as the managers over the 3 areas of collections: the employees who work from home, the employees at the office, and the employees working with Australia. This company is going from a small loan company in Logan, UT to global and growing very quickly. They just had investors in Australia decide to do loans there, and run the loans through the Logan office. As time passes, they hope to dip into Great Brittain, New Zealand and a few other countries. They are dabbling in doing so many different things, making so many doors open for Brandon in the future! They currently have about 30 employees and are hoping within the next few months to bump that up to, I believe 70-80 employees. (im pretty sure that is what Brandon said) Whatever the number is...they are hoping to grow like crazy! Im so proud of Brandon for all the hard work he has put into this company. We are so glad that he chose to stick with this company because it has really proven to pay off! Good job babe! We are so proud of you!
Bye Bye Dylan!
Yesterday was my last day of nannying for The Robinson Family. I have been with Dylan since he was 3 months old, and he just turned 1 on Dec 19. It has been so fun to see him grow and develop throughout the 9 months I was with him. He is such a fun little guy with a great personality. Chayse and Dylan got along really well for the most part and I know that Chayse will sure miss playing with his little buddy every day during the week! Danilo and Shelley were so great to work for! Shelley and I became fast friends and I looked forward to our morning chats before she left for work! I am sure I will watch Dylan here and there for them still before the baby comes, and even after she comes, cuz I can just take her with me. I just decided that when I hit 32 weeks, I just needed time to get ready for Alexa to get here, and to be able to relax and try and keep her in as long as possible! Luckily it worked out with when Shelley went on Christmas Break (she is a school teacher)..and that would give them time to get ready and adjusted to the new place she would be taking Dylan! It makes me sad because Dylan will be watched by someone else, and I definitely got attached to him! I will miss his huge smile when he sees me walk in his house, and the cute little chubby arms he held out for me to come pick him up, and the way he would bury his head on my shoulder and just laugh when he was in a playful mood! I feel lucky to have been able to watch such a great little boy!

Christmas Party!
(WARNING: slightly long post!)
On Saturday night, we had our good friends, The Congers , over for a little Christmas party! It's always fun when they come from Twin Falls, and can spend time with us! I made really yummy sweet pulled pork enchiladas, that my sister gave me the recipe for. (Let me know if you are interested in the recipe, its very comparable to the ones at Costa Vida) After dinner we hung out, chatted, exchanged gifts and had some delicious peppermint ice cream! It was fun getting the kids together and letting them play. As time goes by, the age difference between them (5 mos) seems to matter less and less. They play pretty well together, though Chayse seems to want to be more affectionate and she is beginning to think boys have cooties! :) Here are some pics from our fun evening! I just wish they lived back in Logan, so we could get together lots, like the old times! We miss you guys already! :)

(Chayse and Peyton)We had lots of fun and were sad to have our party be over, but we look forward to the next time they come into town and can come play! I was being my emotionally preggo self, and telling Tegan that night how lucky I feel to have such a great friendship with her! There are few times in your life that you get the opportunity to meet someone who just "gets you and still loves you". I can tell her the most random wierdest things, and she just understands, and whats more..she is probably thinking the same thing! I was really sad when she moved way to Twin, but our friendship has stayed strong. Thank goodness for internet and cell phones right? Haha! Anyway, just wanted to thank you Tegan for all the fun times, endless phone conversations, fabulous recipe advice, gossip sessions, "kid time" with our little ones, sneaking away to breakfast, work "experiences", numerous shopping trips, craft times, and the shoulder or ear you always offer when I need someone to chat with you! I love you for being such an awesome friend!

Almost 30 weeks!
On Tuesday I will be 30 weeks! I cant believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by! I know once I hit the "30's"...then time will just fly by even more! I was told by my husband last night, that come mid-January..I cant go anywhere by myself, just in case I go into labor. His dad works 2 min away from where we live, so he feels like if I am at home at least, his dad can make it over to help with Chayse til he can make it there. (Mind you he only works like 12 min away...7 min if there isnt any traffic.) So as nice as it would be for things to move that quickly, I told him I would be fine and Im sure he would make it home in time to take me to the hospital before she came out! Haha! Luckily Logan is small enough that no matter where I am..someone is close by! He is also crossing his fingers that the baby comes on a weekend because that gives him more time with the baby before he would have to go back to work. It was endearing to see the wheels turning and planning the upcoming birth. Unfortunately..(specially with me)...birth just isnt something we can plan!I know this sounds totally lame, but Im just worried about the hospital stay and being away from Chayse so much! Depending on when you deliver at Logan Regional, they usually have you stay 3 days..hospital policy. I haven't ever been away from Chayse more than overnight, and we took him to my inlaws later and picked him up way early..so Im just not used to being away from my little buddy! Thats what he totally is, my little buddy..we are always together! I know he can come visit in the hospital, but realistically how long will a 2 1/2 yr old be able to sit in a hospital room! Oh well, Im sure I will have enough to worry about with the new little one and trying to get some sleep in between, that I wont even really think about it. K Im done with my ramblings! :)
