Holy Moly my kids are growing too fast!

...and here is proof!

Chayse is starting 1st grade in a few weeks! I cannot believe it! He will be gone from me all day! It definitely makes me sad, but I know he absolutely loves school and he will be having a blast. Alexa will miss him like crazy, but at least she has Zayde at home to play with. He is getting to the age now where he loves playing with Chayse and Alexa and I think they are loving it! Chayse is in the middle of soccer camp, and I think he loves to play the game, just hates all the running and says he wants to use his hands and his feet haha!. He isn't sure if he wants to continue now with soccer, so we will see. Maybe he can stick to playing goalie! :)

Alexa will be starting her second year of preschool over at Tiny Tots! I am excited to see what she has retained and how much more she will learn! She just got started in gymnastics. She had her first day yesterday and LOVED it! I am trying Highpoint Gymnastics today and we will decide which one we like better! She is in soccer camp right now as well and she is doing really well! She has a knack for it, but right now is obsessed with gymnastics, so we will put her in spring soccer and see how she does then! She is still such a sass and a diva to the extreme, but we love her just the same! :)

Zayde is a ball full of energy..non..stop...energy. He is always on the go and ALWAYS lookin for something to eat! He is 15 months old now and he has such a cute personality! He has the cutest little chubby face smile and he is starting to talk and communicate more, which we love in comparison to his screaming as a way of communicating haha! He can say Daddy, Mommy, nandy (Candy), nanny or nana (banana), meemee (milk), yes, no, ball, puppy, and a few others I cant think of off the top of my head this early in the a.m. Haha! He has 6 teeth with 3 more coming in. I am thinking he likes that  he has teeth now to help him down his food! :)

Brandon and I are just keepin busy with work and the kids and even though life has been crazy busy this summer, we are loving it and loving our kids and how awesome and fun they are! :) We are blessed!

Last week I decided to take Alexa with me to get a pedicure! It was a lot of fun hangin out with her. Here are a couple pics of her!

Alexa Got A New Do!

So I finally conviced Brandon to let me cut Alexa's hair! The next person to convince was Alexa. She really wanted to grow her hair out like Rapunzel, like every other girl since "Tangled" came out. I was just tired of her tangled and oily hair every day after spending the whole day outside and repeated coats of sunscreen. Not to mention that it was a fight every single time she got out of the shower, to comb out her tangles!

I reminded Alexa that at the end of "Tangled", Flynn Rider cuts off Rapunzel's hair! So I guess that convinced her enough to let my friend Ashley cut her hair. Alexa sure was a wiggly little bug, but it turned out cute and we both love it!

Sometimes I do miss her long hair, but this is definitely so much easier for the summer!

Fahnestock Turkey Day

So this year for Thanksgiving, we went to my Dad's house in Sandy and had a blast! We missed having Kimber, Adam and Jonas there though!
It was my dad's first time making a turkey and it turned out really yummy! I made my brother's face raspberry preztel jello salad...and ya its pretty much the best and it's pretty much my fav too! There was lots of good food, that took lots of time to prepare..and it was all over in about 15 minutes haha!

I did manage to snap a few pictures. We were stuffed and we were making burp faces and "technicolor yawn" faces..dont ask me why...but hey..it was entertaining at the time and picture worthy. Haha! Alexa's is actually legit because she didnt like the mashed potatoes we gave her.

(Please excuse Alexa's messy hair..cant believe I am posting pics with her hair not done, but I just didnt want to mess with it that day..she was cranky and hates it when I do her hair..so that was what she was thankful for that day!

I did something right in Heaven...

I got blessed with two great newborns! Chayse was great as a newborn, minus the NICU experience..and Alexa is just the same! Chayse started sleeping through the night at 2 months, and last night Alexa slept from 8.5 hours! She has been consistently sleeping 6.5-7 hrs a night...which is so great, but last night was SO nice! (Though I did keep waking up towards the end to make sure she was okay because she was sleeping so long!) I am so excited to start sleeping more! :) She has hit a few milestones the last few weeks, such as smiling, holding her head up better, pushing up off my chest with her hands, starting to make some cooing noises and she has started to bat at her toys on her bouncy seat! I think she weighs around 11 lbs..(I weighed myself alone, then holding her.) I guess we will see for sure at her appt on the 7th! She is also wearing 3-6 month clothes already!!! I just love her to death and am so thankful for all the joy she has brought into our home these past 7 weeks. Here are 7 things I love about my baby girl!

Baby Smiles

Today I was finally able to catch Alexa smiling on camera! She smiled for the first time on March 10, but they have since been short, quick and hard to catch! She was so happy after her bottle today! She obviously takes after her brother for her love to eat! Its the greatest thing to see them smile up at you, and you can see that whatever you are doing..is right because its making them happy!

She is just too precious! I love her smiles!

While I was taking pictures of Alexa, Chayse wanted his picture taken. He has his baby that he takes care of while I take care of Alexa, and he wanted me to get a picture of him reading a book to his baby Taylor. Its actually my doll from when I was little..and he got a hold of it and loves to carry him around. Let's just not tell Brandon his son carries around a baby doll. ;)

Baby Update

Today marks the 36th week of my pregnancy! I cant believe how fast the time has flown! K well the last few weeks have dragged by, but looking back..it seems like yesterday I was taking the test and grinning so hard my cheeks hurt. Im a week past when I gave birth to Chayse, so everyday is a blessing that she continues to grow and develop in the womb. I think now that its even closer to my due date..Im starting to get cold feet. Wait..can you have cold feet when you are pregnant? Haha, anyway..I just know it will hurt...A LOT..but then again the outcome makes everything so worth it! I go to the doctor on Thursday and will give an update as soon as we know more!

P.S. My husband so kindly reminded me that the longer she is in there, the bigger she will get. That doesn't help when I am trying to do it epidural free!!! :)

Baby Alexa's "Space"

Since Brandon and I's condo only has two bedrooms, we have had to improvise until we move into a bigger place. I didnt want to have the baby's crib in Chayse's room, for fear of her waking him up all night. Luckily, these condos have pretty big rooms. We re-arranged our furniture in our bedroom so she will have a whole wall to call her "Space". Here are a few pictures of the future princess's "space".
