Chayse & Lex's TV Debut!

My friend, Jessica, is in charge of the Baby Expo down in Sandy, and she had asked a few of us if we wanted to have our kids be in the commerical to help promote it. Well of course we did! :) It turned out really cute! Alexa had her binky in her mouth, she was having a rough day as it was. I didnt want to rock the boat, by removing her lifeline. So there she is..in all her binky glory haha!

An Update or Two

I seriously feel like I am so behind on blogging! I still have to post Chayse's birthday pictures, but I took them with my CF card, so the files are huge and I dont have time to and resize them all and then upload them all to a slideshow! I hope that I can do that eventually! Haha!

Things are going good here! We were way busy with all the birthdays, but love that we get to party for so long! We are having a blast being together as a family and just spending time wrestling around, watching a movie or reading books.

My photography is keeping me busy! My friend Laurel and I rented out a different space that worked better for our studio, and it's been fun getting to do shoots there! I love that we will have it during the winter, so we can keep business rolling!

Brandon is working at Impact still, and just got a job at the hospital as a Cardiology Tech. He starts training in a week from Monday, and wll just do fill in, til it turns into more permanent hours. He is still in school, but is finishing next Aug. I am so proud of him! He has worked full time, done school full time and been a full time dad & husband. Thanks babe!

Chayse started preschool a couple weeks ago and I can already tell that its helped him socially. He isnt as nervous going places and being around new people. The other day I was dropping him off, and I was holding his hand walking him over to his teacher and once she said hi, he dropped me hand like he was a big boy and didn't want to be embarassed by his mom! Haha! He is so fun and has the best imagination! I love it!

Alexa...oh Alexa! This girl is giving me a taste of my own medicine haha! Sorry Dad! Thats all I have to say about that! :) No she is a doll and we love her so much! She had to her first time in nursery on Sunday and she did awesome! She walked in there and had no problems. She even saw Brandon peeking in to her classroom and she was just like "Dadda" and went on playing. She was very upset when it was time to go though. I think it will be good for her to be able to be aroun and socialize with kids other than her brother and cousins. She is starting to talk more, but is still at the point, that unless you are around her a lot, you may not be able to quite understand her. I love it when she carries on these long conversations with you but she is just talking jibberish! Its awesome! :)

Chayse's 4 yr old Pictures

On to my second post of the day! Chayse had the leftovers of a little stomach bug today, so we decided not to take any chances of him spreading it and kept him home from preschool. Needless to say he was devistated. So I decided him and I should go take his 4 yr old pictures! He was such a ham and did a great job! I seriously love this little guy and love that his claim of being a "big boy", doesn't stop him from having his snuggle time every day with me!!

He got a little silly towards the end, but I loved capturing his silly faces! :)

New Paint! New Look!

At the beginning of this month, my mother in law and I finally got around to doing the painting I have been wanting to get done! It was a busy couple of days painting and decorating, but I love how they turned out in the end! I still have some more to do on Chayse's room as far as decorating but I think we did more than enough for now haha!

Happy Birthday Chaysers!

What a big day for Chayse! He turns 4 years old and has his first day of Preschool!!! He was so excited! The second he got up he wanted to put on his new Spiderman backpack. He was so excited to pass out his special treats he brought for everyone! This little guy loves to learn and I am so happy for him that he gets to go to this great preschool!

He was very shy during orientation, so I worried about dropping him off the first day. The teacher is waiting outside to take them in, and I didnt know if he would go with her. He hesitated at first but then went with her and I am assuming he is doing great because I haven't gotten any phone calls or see him running down the street towards our house! Haha!

We have a busy day planned with lots of fun stuff to do for Chayse's birthday. His actual party is on Sunday and I will do a big post on about the weekend festivities!!

Chayse we are so happy that you are in our family! You make us laugh constantly and your little sister adores you! Thanks for being such an awesome little dude! Please stop growing up so fast..I dont know if I can take it! :)

I feel like I have ignored my blog a bit. I have been crazy busy with lots of fun things, so I will have an update soon! Just got back into town from Boise today, so once I get things settled..ya'all will get an update.

Logan Temple

I took this picture at a wedding on Friday and it turned out pretty awesome if I do say so myself!! It's vintage artsy..so not the typical temple picture, but I love it just the same! I just might frame it!

I hope to go there someday...

I got through my first two weddings on Aug 5th and Aug 14th. I am so glad I was able to do them because it really broadened my horizons in the photography world and I am so excited to dive into more! I think thats the one thing I love about being a photographer. There are so many things you can photograph, explore, and learn.
