Cute Little Toes

Today I decided, I was going to attempt to paint Alexa's toenails for the first time! Since I am so used to having a boy..I had forgotten this girly experience I had yet to share with my little princess! I waited til she was asleep, and I did it the best I could! I was buggin her and she didn't like it and kept pulling her little feet up to her chest..but I got them done and did a pretty good job for my first time painting such tiny toes!

Today we just hung out at home, and since Chayse takes after me in loving to take pictures, we did just that!

I had to throw in this cute picture of Chayse and his little animal friends. I was busy with my brother in law helping him paint our kitchen and I came in to check on him. He had set out a picnic for his animals.

P.S. Coming soon: We have repainted the family room and kitchen, got a new kitchen table and got all new appliances in our condo! We are getting new carpet and a new sink and possibly redoing the cupboards. Its been fun so far..cant wait for it all to be done. Pictures will be coming soon!

To be Private..Or Not to be...

So, Im thinking about going private, because I got a really weird comment on my page from someone in Brazil about a webcam or something..weird??? Also, if you put in Chayse's name, its the first hit on google. I have tried to block it so google cant search it, but it still does it! (Anyone who has any suggestions, please come forward.) I don't really want to because I hate it when I stumble upon a persons name and click on it and its private and it drives me nuts, cuz I "think" I may know them, but cant find out. And of course there are the blogs of people who I look at because I used to know them, or went to highschool with them and its fun to be able to check out different blogs...but that aren't ones that I would necessarily contact the person. I wish blogspot was like Myspace or Facebook, where you can request to be someone's "blog friend"...and you can either deny or accept them. Wouldn't that be great? Maybe if enough of us write to Blogspot..they may just make that possible. What do you think? So..I haven't decided yet...but Im thinkin about it.

Finally!

Let's just say that life gets a little hectic with two, and it has taken me...oh 10 weeks now to get out Alexa's announcements! Oh well, better late than never right? I am sending them out today, and since I couldn't send them out to everyone..I thought I would post it on here, so she could be "announced" to the blogging world as well! :)

Congratulations to Ali..Biggest Loser's first female winner ever! She is a great inspiration and looks just fabulous! It just goes to show that a lot of hard work and determination definitely pays off! Finally a woman has won!

Today I Embark On a Journey...

..to lose all my baby weight! I met with a friend of Brandon's today that is a personal trainer. Some of you may ask why I am training with someone if my husband is a personal trainer. Even though my husband is a great trainer, we don't work really well together in that aspect..(my fault)..so I got set up with his friend Brad, and he seems really knowledgeable and it will be fun to work with him. I will post weekly updates on my progress. I am the type of person that needs someone to answer to til I can get going on my own, to where I just go and work out, and eat really well..no questions asked. I cant wait to get back to "pre-baby body". Anyone who reads this and wants to join me in my qwest...let me know! Its always fun to have a support system to keep eachother going with words of encouragement and when it gets hard..to have someone there to tell you, you can do it and just to keep going! I WILL do this! Wish me luck!

Baby Animal Days

On Saturday our little family headed to the American Heritage Center for Baby Animal Days. We really enjoyed our time there together! The weather was perfect, sun out with a slight cool breeze. Chayse rode a pony first and I was honestly surprised he even got on. He tends to be a little chicken when it comes to new big things. He got his helmet on and lasted until the first bend then reached over and clung to Brandon, who was walking next to him. Then after riding the horse, we walked around and saw a bunch of animals, that Chayse LOVED to pet and wanted to hold and hug all of them. He even told some of them that he loved them! After eating some lunch and walking around some more, we were all exhausted! We came home and all of us crashed for 3 hours! When we woke up, we saw we were all sunburned on our faces. (Except Alexa..she was nicely shaded while relaxing and sleeping the whole time!) I guess its time to pull out the sunscreen! It didn't feel that hot, and I felt horrible...but it didn't seem to phase Chayse. All in all we had a fun day and it was fun to get out and do something different with our Saturday! :)

Alexa is 2 Months Old!

Alexa had her 2 month check up this morning! She did really well, despite the 3 shots she had to get in her poor little legs! The doctor gave us a prescription for her thrush, which will hopefully end our 3 week bout with it! Here are her stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 7 oz. (50th percentile)

Height: 22 1/4 in (50th percentile)

Head: 14 1/2 in (20th percentile)

So in 6 weeks she has gained 3 lbs 4 oz and has grown 2 inches in length and her head has grown 1 inch. I guess her head is small for her age, but you cant really tell because her cheeks are so huge haha! All in all she is doing great and is healthy!

A Post..Just Because...

I just cant get over how cute my little Chayse is! Yes, I know I say this a lot and I will probably say it a lot more. I just love him and I am so greatful for him! He is definitely going through his terrible two's! There are many times that he forgets what the word "no" means...but yet feels he can use it freely and that I should listen to him. He pinches his sister's cheeks, and tugs on her hair, and takes her binkie and throws it across the room...so on those days..I look at pictures like this one...

and all I can do is laugh and remember how happy he makes me! ( I told him to pose for the camera..and this is what I get haha)

The other day, Alexa was getting really fussy and so I layed her down on the couch by where Chayse was playing, and she was totally fine and was just smiling at him and cooing at him. You can definitely tell she loves her brother! She is always just staring up at him and smiling! I love it!

A WALK TO FEED THE DUCKS!

Chayse absolutely LOVES going to feed the ducks! He loves talking to them and chasing them all around. It was decent weather the other day, and so we took the kids out on a walk to go feed the ducks. It was Alexa's first walk, and she was asleep for most of it, but did wake up at the end for a little picture!

He wanted to touch the ducks and play with them..but he couldn't quite reach haha!

He sure does love to feed the ducks! He is so funny with them! He was chasing them all over the place!
