Zayde turned One!

Seriously, that year went by too fast! Too fast for him being our last little one! He is the perfect completion to our family and he has been such a blast to have in our family! He is proving to be a clone to Alexa as far as personality goes, so we are definitely in for another little spitfire! Haha! He knows what he wants, when he wants it, how he wants it and is relentless til he gets it! Chayse and Alexa love that he is getting older and can play with them more! I seriously love this little guy so much and thank Heavenly Father every day for all of my kids! I feel so blessed!

Here are some pictures from his first birthday!

Love you Zayder Buggy!

Disney on Ice: Treasure Trove

We finally took the kids to Disney on Ice. We always hesitated because it's 1.5 hrs away to SLC, and you have to drive through a canyon to get there, and anyone that knows me, knows I dont like to be committed to travel during winter because of the snow, and my certain impending doom of death if we have to drive in it. I have really been working on that part of my anxiety, and so we took the plunge haha. Not to mention Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were there! Duh..like we weren't going to go!

We all had a blast. The kids loved every minute of it! It was amazing to see their eyes light up as each of their favorite characters had come to life right before their eyes! Thanks to Dad & Jacque for watching Zayder Bug!

We will definitely be doing it again!

Chayse & Lex had surgery!

Both Alexa and Chayse hadto get their tonsils out. Alexa had hers out in August and Chayse had his out in October. They both did reallly well with it, and recovered quickly. I am definitely glad we got that outof the way though! :)
I forgot to take pics of Chayse is the hospital, but there is a couple of him at home after. :)
They were both so brave and we are so proud of them for how good they did!

Alexa started preschool!

...way back in September! :) I am doing a bunch of catch up posts...so bare with me!
Alexa started at Tiny Tots Preschool, where Chayse went for 2 years. She is absolutely loving it! She is very diffedent from Chayse though, in the fact that she doesnt rush home to tell me what she learned. I usually have to pry it out of her. Her teacher says she is very thorough with her work and does a great job! I love seeing all that she is learning and that she is having a blast doing it!
These pictures are from her orientation and her first day!

Pumpkins & Cookies

We decided to paint the pumpkins again this year. It's a lot less of a mess, I think anyway! :) The kids like it as well because they can do be more involved. I don't love the idea of my kids with sharp objects, especially Alexa! :) Last year, we carved them..and it was Brandon and I doing it for the most part. Also, I am a little neurotic about them actually looking like the picture traced on there. Don't worry, I am working on letting go... :)

Another fav tradition is decorating sugar cookies. I didnt go all out with a bunch of different candies, sprinkles and assorted frosting colors. It wasnt necessary, my waistline said so. So we went simple. The kids had fun anyway. :)
