Chayse turned 6!

Yep...my firstborn is now 6 years old! I know, I can't believe it either! I have probably said a million times on here that time flies..and it sure does..especially with my kids!

Chayse had a fun birthday spent with friends and family! Thank you to all those who came to celebrate his birthday and the gifts that were given! He loves every one of them!

Here are some pictures from his friend party and family party!

Chayse looooves Kindergarten! He gets excited every day to go! I hope it lasts for the next 13 years of schooling!

He is still way into drawing and coloring. We are probably killing multiple trees to keep up with his hobby! Sorry about that trees!

He loves to practice writing words, and learning to read. He will come home from school and study for awhile every day. Its pretty cute to see him so dilligent in his qwest to learn "everything"

He has recently started riding his bike all on his own without training wheels. He has a whole knew realm of freedom and he is loving it!

We are so thankful for our sweet Chaysers! He is such a great addition to his family, and his younger siblings adore him!

Love you buddy!

Zayde is 4 months old!!

I swear I felt a little tear sting my eye when I wrote that title! I can't believe it has already been 4 months. I am definitely more emotional with each month that passes...knowing its the last time I will have a baby at that age! It's crazy, but at the same time I am so excited for him to reach the different stages in his life and get more mobile and I am sure his siblings are excited for him to be able to play more!

Here are his 4 month stats:

12 lbs 15.5 oz - 25th percentile
25 inches - 50th percentile
16 3/4 inches - 50th percentile (head)

He is long and thin..but he still has those chubby Leavitt cheeks! :)

He can roll from his stomach to his back.

He found his hands and he is constantly trying to suck on them. A way to soothe him, is to let him hold your hand. He loves it. He is also loving his little toys to suck on and hold on to.

He found his feet as well..and he folds himself in half getting those bad boys up to his mouth! Its so cute to watch!

He found his voice and he uses it! He is so cute when he "talks". It sounds like he is trying to hold a conversation, in baby jibberish style. He has the cutest little squeal and belly laughs. That is my favorite!!

He tried rice cereal...and pretty  much loves it..and the spoon! So we will do that for a bit before we introduce veggies. I hate the look and smell of baby food veggies..so I hope he at least likes them! Haha!

He was sleeping through the night til 5:30 or 6 and then would go back to sleep..but the last several nights he has been waking up at 3:30 and then 7:30 and staying awake til 10:00 or so. He is usually happy and playful in the morning, so that is always a fun time for us to hang out before the older kids wake up!

He pretty much rocks and we love him to pieces!

Alexa Got Her Tonsils Out!

On Friday, Alexa went in to get her tonsils out. They were really big and not allowing her to sleep well or get the full amount of oxygen that is normal. Everything went really well and she is recooping pretty great as well. She has her times of pain but she has only been on ibuprofen today, so that is awesome.

Here are pics from her surgery day.

Brandon really wanted her tonsils, (weird, i know haha). Anyway, I guess there is a law about taking human tissue out of the hospital. Has something to do with mad cow's disease. The doc did bring them out and Brandon had me take pics. :)

Cavities

Well Alexa has 2 more cavities!! The dentist said she will be prone to them in her back teeth because of how deep her pits are. So that's a huge bummer! They have to sedate her again. It is rather funny to see her loopy though. Here is a video of her last time she had to get sedated, almost a year ago to the day!

Grandma's Wigs

My kids were being whiny and ornery after we got back from my sister's house, and I seriously needed a good laugh so I didn't flip out. So I went and pulled out some of Grandma's wigs. We definitely got some good laughs from these!

These pics are from the next day though because I didn't think to take some that night. :)

(Sorry for the video being sideways)

Zoo Time!

When we were in Boise this last weekend, we headed to Boise Zoo with my grandma, and my sister and her kids. It has changed a lot since we were there last. I totally loved the giraffes and being able to see them so close up! We had a yummy picnic afterwards at the park as well. It was a great morning!
