For the longest time you couldn't get Alexa to sit down for longer than 2 seconds....until she discovered Cinderella. She will actually sit through this movie....(multiple times a day if mom isnt feeling well!)

Halloween 2010

We celebrated Halloween today, and we had a good time despite the yucky weather.

My mother in law and I took the kids to the mall to go Trick or Treating. It was chaos but still fun!

Then we met up with Stacy at yummy Costa Vida! Mmmmmm!

After Brandon got off work we went home and hung out for a bit, then hit some houses around the neighborhood. The kids were cold, tired and they said they had enough candy.

We finished the night hanging out together and watching some TV. Definitely a low key Halloween but that is how it is with little ones. Haha

Alexa vs. Mascara...The mascara won!

Alexa came downstairs lookin like this the other day...

After trying not to laugh...unsuccessfully and telling her that it's dangerous for her to do that and it can really hurt her eyes, she says ," But I just wanted to look like you Mommy!"

 Wow thanks...is that really how I look? I guess some mornings when I wake up with make up from the night before...I may look like that! :)

Chayse's 5th Birthday!

Chayse turned 5 on September 11!

The day before, we had a friend pizza party for him! Thanks to all of those who came! We all had a blast and Chayse is very thankful for the presents he was given!

Then on Chayse's actual birthday the next day, we took Chayse to see "Toy Story 3" and then he wanted to go to dinner at McDonalds that night for dinner and so we did! He loves playing there. I don't love the germs..but I can't keep him sheltered forever haha.

For his birthday he got a Fisher Price Talkin Jeep Power Wheels from us, grandparents and Uncle Travis! He absolutely loves it and Alexa loves riding with him on it!

We sure love having Chayse in our family. Time flies too fast and I can't believe that my little guy is already 5! He is such a sweet little boy and we feel so blessed to have him! Love you buddy!

Chayse Starts Preschool Again!

Chayse started his second and last year of preschool at Tiny Tots Preschool on Friday. He absolutely adores his teachers and was so so so excited to get back into the swing of things with school. He wouldn't even eat breakfast that morning because he was so anxious to get to school and get the year started.  We of course had to do the traditional "first day of school" pictures by the front door! He likes Alexa to be in the pictures with him, and of course she didn't mind a bit!

We are excited for a fun year!

A little catch up post!

Wow I can't believe how bad I have been at blogging lately! We had a busy first part of the summer and this last month has proved to be just as busy!

Brandon finished college this last month!  Yahoo!!!! We had a little BBQ for him with family and friends, and my dad took us out to Chili's as well  to celebrate! Thanks for everyone's love and support! We are so so proud of Brandon and all of his hard work to finish his degree! He has worked full time at Impact, part time at the hospital in the cardio lab, and still had time to do his homework and be a great dad and husband! Now its time to start looking for a job!  Wish us luck!

I have been busy as ever with photography! I enjoyedd the summer but definitely ready for things to slow down! :) I have been trying to keep up with the kids the last few weeks, but due to lack of energy and feeling nauseas a lot..it's been a little harder haha. I haven't gotten this sick with my others, but it's still definitely manageable so I can't complain too much. The kids are pretty good at taking care of me when they know I am sick!

Chayse turns 5 next week and also starts up preschool again. Holy cow is he ready! He has been talking about being a big 5 yr old and his last year of preschool before kindergarten! He played Tball this summer and absolutely loved it and can't wait to play again next summer! He is so excited for this little baby to come. He has put in a request for a baby brother, so we will see!

Alexa is a ball of energy and diva-ish-ness. Totally not a word..but it works! I have used the word diva to describe her in a lot of posts, but really there is not a better word to describe her..and her diva qualities get more and more apparent each day! haha! She is so sweet about the baby and said she wanted a baby in her belly when we told them. haha. She acts like she cant wait for the baby to come, but I am sure that it will be a rude awakening when the baby really does get here. She wants a little brother as well, so hopefully someone up there was listening! ;)

The pics are of the kids at the dentist (Alexa had to get a small cavity filled a couple of weeks later. The dentist said that her pits are so deep in her teeth that it was bound to happen no matter how good her brushing was. That made us feel a little bit better as parents haha).

We also took the kids to their first rodeo and the first one that I can remember going to. We all absolutely loved it!

Some big news!

We just found out that we are expecting our last baby! We are so excited for this little one to join our lives this spring! Chayse and Alexa are pretty excited as well, and Alexa is already kissing my stomach and saying " I love you baby!".

I am sure it will take quite an adjustment to go from 2 kids to 3 kids..but I am ready for the challenge!! :) I will be keeping this blog full of updates throughout the pregnancy! Well...I am going to try my very hardest too! :)
